First Visit with a Foot Health Practitioner:

What to Expect During Your Consultation and Treatment

Welcome to our website! As a Foot Health Practitioners, we provide comprehensive foot care, ranging from routine treatments to specialized care for conditions like ingrown toenails and diabetic foot care. Every visit begins with a thorough consultation and assessment, allowing me to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

What Happens During Your First Visit?

1. Medical History

As a new patient, during your first visit, we will conduct a detailed medical history, allowing me to understand your overall health, any medications you are taking, and your lifestyle. For existing health issues, we will continue to review your condition.

2. Foot Health Assessment

Before starting any treatment, we will conduct a thorough visual and, if necessary, physical examination of your feet to assess the root causes of your condition. This helps us propose the most effective treatment plan based on my findings.

3. Treatment Plan and Procedure

Once we agree on a treatment plan, we will proceed with your treatment in a sterile environment, using only instruments that meet the highest standards of care, in line with evidence-based practices.

Foot Care for Diabetic Patients

For individuals with diabetes, regular foot care is especially important, as elevated blood sugar levels can damage the nerves in the feet and affect circulation, leading to slower healing of cuts and sores. Without proper treatment, these issues can lead to foot ulcers, infections, and even amputations.

During your first visit, we will perform a thorough assessment of your feet, including a neurovascular test, to evaluate how diabetes is affecting your foot health. This assessment helps us understand the current condition of your feet and determine the best course of action to prevent complications.

Our approach to care is holistic – each patient is treated as an individual, and our priority is to prevent serious complications. Based on the findings, we will provide you with appropriate treatment and educate you on daily foot care to minimize risks.

Remember, your feet deserve professional care, and we are here to help you take the best care of them.

In our Foot Care Clinic you can relax in the comfortable treatment chair in a clean, light and airy treatment area while Kasia or Andrzej takes care of your feet using the latest equipment and products.

The Hygiene and The Highest Quality of Disinfection and Sterilization are Priority in our Foot Care Clinic.

The quality of service and hygiene standards are kept to the highest levels with the use of the latest sterilization equipment and instruments. All our podiatry instruments are cleaned and disinfected in an ultrasonic bath. Afterwards they are sterilised to 134 degrees in a professional machine, known as an autoclave.

The instruments are vacuum packed within the autoclave in sterile pouches. The instruments remain sterile in the pouch until opened at the treatment session so there is no risk of cross contamination or infection

The pouches have a colour indicator slip that shows sterilisation has taken place. All other equipment as gloves, mask, towels etc. are disposable, so our patient can feel safe and comfortable during the treatment.
